About Us
RealWorldHR Ltd was formed in 2007 and is a management consultancy firm that specialises in HR and OD, providing services to both public and private sector organisations. As a company our portfolio of work is vast, ranging from supporting the people workstreams of national government People Transition programmes to restructures in local authorities, healthcare and Blue Light services. We work with large private sector clients on behaviour change and provide specialist HR and OD support for numerous culture reform projects.
In addition to extensive HR & OD experience our team of professional HR consultants all have experience of working within a PMO environment and as part of an in-house operational HR team. It is this experience that allows us to have true empathy for client requirements and offer practical and pragmatic support.
In the Real World
Giving something back is important to us. In addition to mentoring and pro-bono work, we work with fellow SMEs and support and fundraise for various charities and events.
Since 2023 RealWorldHR Ltd is proud to be a corporate partner of the Samaritans and offering our support to this valuable charity.
Every 10 seconds, Samaritans responds to a call for help. No judgement. No pressure. They are there for anyone who needs someone. By supporting Samaritans, RealWorldHR wants to help ensure they can continue to be there 24/7 for anyone struggling to cope, no matter what.
As a company we have decades of experience helping organisations where people are having a tough time. Our values are important to us and throughout each project we prioritise the mental health of the people we work with and our own employees. We believe no one facing a difficult time should feel alone. Experience has taught us that every employee has a life they are living outside of work, and at times life can be overwhelming. It is during these times having someone to talk to openly and honestly about how you are feeling can make a difference.
As a team and individually we will be undertaking fundraising activities in support of Samaritans throughout the year. Donating just £5 could answer a call for help, but any support you can give is greatly appreciated both by Samaritans and the people they help. Equestrian Events
Flight View Livery and Stud is a family business in North West England that aims to make the elite world of show jumping accessible to a broad range of people. Sponsorship from RealWorldHR has helped them travel to events and achieve qualification for the prestigious Horse of the Year Show.
We have sponsored the Supreme Showdown Equestrian Show in Formby, a family orientated equestrian show which is open to all and where all proceeds go to charity.
The Fire Fighters Charity
Our long association with the UK Fire and Rescue Service makes the Fire Fighters Charity a favourite with us. We have supported a variety of fundraising events over the years, including a sponsored walk by Chief Fire Officers Association members.
The charity does great work providing rehabilitation, recuperation and support services to Fire Service staff and their families, and relies on its volunteer fundraisers across the country to generate the money it needs for these vital services.
David Bellamy ‘Tree Appeal’ and the Woodland Creation Project at Knowsley Farm, Whitworth
When RWHR was first established we joined the David Bellamy ‘Tree Appeal’ and committed to planting a tree for every client we work with
Now in our 10th year we have recently donated to the Woodland Creation Project at Knowsley Farm. An initiative to create a sustainable 5 acre woodland. The farm is also contributing and allowing scouts to do all the planting as part of an organised event with all the proceeds going to raise funds for those selected to attend the 2019 World Scout Jamboree in the US
